Pimenton Spiced Bravas Sauce
The popular tapas dish patatas bravas was Owen's inspiration this spicy sauce. It uses plenty of tomatoes reduced with sherry vinegar to create a thick sauce and flavoured with authentic Spanish pimentón and a good measure of cayenne.
Drizzle it over sauted potatoes or fried potato skins – maybe with a little for the Barcelona version of patatas bravas. Superb also with a quality sausage or burger, and perfect in a chorizo and manchego cheese panini.
INGREDIENTS: Chopped Tomatoes, Roasted Red Peppers (14%), Sherry Vinegar, Onions, Sugar, Water, Tomato Puree, Garlic, Cornflour, Salt, Pimenton Smoked Paprika (1%), Black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper.
